Boise weekend - Krispy Kreme

A visit to Boise (June 26th) to visit the Sousley grandkids.....First a trip to Krispy Kreme for fresh doughnuts!
Wil with his favorite donut

Reagan - what a face!

Wendy, Rod and Joy all enjoying donuts!

Bruneau Sand Dunes with Sousleys

Rod wanted to see the telescopes and astronomy stuff at the Bruneau sand dunes. The mosquitos were so bad after sundown, we couldn't stay.
That is a giant telescope!

We played in the water to cool off. The sand dunes were too hot to walk on. The kids had so much fun in the water and that crazy dog would swim after a stick until he keeled over....

the sand dunes were not quite so hot in the morning. Wendy, Alex, and Grandma had a jumping contest down the hill. Of course, grandma was in last place.

Alex and Wil were having a great time. It was fun to spend some time with them.

Park City get-away

Memorial Day Weekend 2010, Peggy, Missy, & I planned a get-away in Park City. We hiked in the mountains beyond the golf course at the Park City Hotel.
Cottage # 10 was our accomodations for the weekend.

What a luxurious place with views, valet service, chocolate covered strawberries delivered to our kitchenette; a private hot tub (with a fire place near by for comfortable warmth on a chilly spring evening); and absolutely the best friends in the world to share it all.

Inside Cottage # 10- Leather sofas, big screen TV to watch chick flicks til all hours; a kitchen for our favorite goodies, etc. etc.

Dinner at the Park City Restaurant - Filet Mignon, Calimari, and Raspberry cheesecake. WOW! With Peggy's future son-in-law as our waiter - which of course meant better service than on aRoyal Carribbean cruise.
